Which are the best regional agencies?

25 jury members will be choosing the best BalCannes projects at the Weekend Media Festival

Zagreb, June 19th, 2017 – All regional marketing agencies are invited to apply their projects until September 1st for BalCannes, which will once again be held in Rovinj as part of the tenth edition of Weekend Media Festival. This year, the best 25 projects from the regional will be picked by the jury, which is made from 25 members, all of which are either on the client, agency or media side. Since the best results are achieved when clients, agencies and the media come together, this year’s jury, which will be joined by agency representatives, will offer the optimal project selection at BalCannes so far.

The best agencies will bring home a special prize – the BalCanness lion home, and this year, seven lions will be awarded. In addition to the main award for the best agency and the BalCannes project, as well as special awards by the jury of agencies, advertisers and media, the best project for the regional market and the best project for the foreign market will also be awarded.

Furthermore, BalCannes will continue featuring its unique concept, which means that the top 25 regional projects will be available all year round via BalCannes Yellow Pages.

In association with HURA (The Croatian Association of Communications Agencies) and Weekend Media Festival, the sixth edition of Bal Cannes, a review of the best regional communications agencies will be held in Rovinj as part of the three-day festival which is celebrating its tenth birthday this year.

BalCannes applications are open for all agencies and are made exclusively online at  www.balcannes.com.

The largest communication festival in Southeast Europe will be held from September 21st until September 24th in the old tobacco factory in Rovinj under the general sponsorship of Adris grupa. Weekend is not only reserved for lectures and discussions, it is also a place of the best parties and networking which will be raised to a new level this year. The festival’s relaxed atmosphere will contribute to a carefully designed music program which has always been one of its strong sides. It will be the perfect way to celebrate Weekend’s tenth anniversary, and there will be no lack of surprises.
